Salmon Canning class

Participants of the canning class learned techniques to can salmon that meets both subsistence and commercial requirements.

The Salmon Marketing Program hosted a food safety canning class that focused on both subsistence and commercial requirements. A total of 33 fishers took part in the class. The workshop was sponsored by the First National Development Insitute’s food safety grant.
