Abstract
CRITFC letter to Northwest Power and Conservation Council Chair Guy Norman providing comments on the Council’s draft 8th Power Plan. The letter highlighted CRITFC’s continued concerns about the Council’s assumptions about the integration of renewable resources. It also called for stronger actions to ensure that a combination of renewable resources, increased storage, reductions in peak demand, and increased energy efficiency would be implemented in order to provide clean, adequate, reliable, affordable electricity and reduce the damage to salmon, steelhead, and other tribal resources caused by the electrical system.
