Cooks and Cascade Locks Temporary Construction Closures

The Fishing Site Maintenance Department, Akana, and Chinook Plumbing will be conducting construction projects at the Cooks and Cascade Locks In-lieu sites. The projects may impact the usability of the site for fishers.


Cooks

  • WHAT: Dig test pits for the MBR plant and future construction upgrades to the Cooks site.
  • WHEN: Starting at 9am on Tuesday, July 16 and is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
  • REQUEST: To ensure the project proceeds as quickly and smoothly as possible, please remove all personal and titled property from the highlighted areas in the map below by the afternoon of Monday, July 15.


Cascade Locks

  • WHAT: Replace the water and sewer lines to the site going down the west side of the fenced side of the site and under the road to the restroom and fishing cleaning station.
  • WHEN: Starting at 7am on Monday, August 5 and is expected to be completed by Friday, August 9.
  • REQUEST: To ensure the project proceeds as quickly and smoothly as possible, please remove all personal and titled property from the south side of the site along the fence lined areas indicated in the map below. Plan ahead for limited access as the water mains run under the road in the site and will be an open dig for the week.
