Get rid of unwanted hazardous waste, electronics and medicine on Thursday, July 15th, 2021 10am-2pm at the Dalles Dam Visitor Center parking lot, near Lone Pine In-Lieu Site
HAZARDOUS WASTE Accepted Items:
- Paints and stains of all types
- Cleaners, disinfectants, solvents and glues
- Automotive fluids (antifreeze, brake fluids, motor oil, etc…)
- Yard and Garden Chemicals
- Fluorescent lamps, CFL bulbs and ballasts
- Propane bottles and tanks
- Old gasoline, kerosene and oil
- Fire extinguishers
- Batteries (all types)
ELECTRONICS Only these Items Accepted:
- Computers
- Monitors
- Laptops/Tablets
- TV’s
- Keyboards
- Printers
- Computer peripherals like mice, cables, etc
- Cell Phones
REFRIGERATORS AND FREEZERS
- Refrigerators contain gasses that are harmful to the climate. Recycle here for FREE.
MEDICINE
- Unwanted prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and pet medicines.
- NO sharps (Free sharps disposal at: Dalles Disposal. Must be in red sharps container. Call us at 541-506-2636 if you need a free red Sharps Container).
