Thursday, January 30, 2025 | The four Columbia River treaty fishing tribes set the following fishery plan:
Commercial Sturgeon Setline Fishery
- John Day Reservoir: The ongoing sturgeon setline fishery in the John Day Pool has been extended through 6 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 (14.5 days). The tribes will continue to monitor catches and will announce any further winter season modifications. Gear: Setlines Only Allowable Sales: Sturgeon from 43 to 54 inches fork length in The John Day Pool may be sold or kept for subsistence purposes. Fish landed during the open periods are allowed to be sold after the period concludes.
- Bonneville Reservoir: CLOSED
- The Dalles Reservoir: CLOSED.
