Age and Length Composition of the Columbia Basin Spring Chinook Salmon Run Sampled at Bonneville Dam in 1987
Abstract
The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (CRITFC) stock identification project is part of the US-Canada Pacific Salmon Treaty spawning escapement monitoring program (Pacific Salmon Treaty 1985). The project is designed to develop and apply techniques for identification of individual stocks or groups of stocks of Columbia Basin salmon populations originating above Bonneville Dam. Scale pattern analysis (SPA) is currently the primary method being used for stock identification.
