Biography
Blaine manages a variety of projects that include white sturgeon, avian predation, and aquatic invasive species. Regarding white sturgeon, he specifically on focuses on research, management, and propagation efforts. He coordinates the Commission’s efforts on controlling and managing the impacts of avian predators on juvenile salmon, steelhead, and Pacific lamprey. Lastly, he has represented the Commission at a variety of local, regional, and national forums regarding aquatic invasive species since the 1990s.
