Biography
Born in Canada, Dan has hands-on experience building and maintaining marine systems for several private industry sectors. He became a diver at 16 years of age, and worked and volunteered with marine science expeditions for almost 10 years before qualifying as a commercial diver. As a professional, he specialized in non-destructive testing and search and recovery underwater projects in oceans around the world.
A life change brought him to the beverage industry, and he has spent over two decades working as an engineer and consultant in the adult beverage sector.
He is really excited to be able to rejoin the scientific community and use his skillset to help to maintain and improve the CMOP observation efforts!
