Biography

Elijah is CRITFC’s Energy Analyst, tasked with implementing the Tribal Energy Vision for the Columbia Basin. Elijah began working with CRITFC in 2023 as a legal extern.

Elijah holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Quest University Canada—a small liberal arts college in the unceded territory of the Squamish Nation in Canada. For several years, he worked as a climate justice organizer in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, where he led campaigns to stop the expansion of fossil fuel energy projects throughout the Northwest.

Elijah graduated Cum Laude from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2024 with an honors certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. He studied Federal Indian Law and tribal natural resource management, and volunteered on the board of the Native American Law Student Association (NALSA). He is a member of the Oregon State Bar.
