Biography
Elijah is CRITFC’s Energy Analyst, tasked with implementing the Tribal Energy Vision for the Columbia Basin. Elijah started at CRITFC in 2023 as a legal extern before graduating law school and joining staff in 2024.
Elijah holds a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences from Quest University Canada—a small liberal arts college located in the Squamish Nation territory of British Columbia. For several years, he worked as a climate justice organizer based in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, where he lead campaigns to stop the expansion of fossil fuel energy projects throughout the Northwest.
Elijah graduated Cum Laude from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2024 with an honors certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. He studied Federal Indian Law and tribal natural resource management, and volunteered for three years on the board of the Native American Law Student Association (NALSA). He is a member of the Oregon State Bar.
