Biography
As an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, I’ve dedicated my life to preserving my cultural heritage while actively contributing to my community. Prior to joining CRITFC, I served as a Board Director for the Tiicham Conservation District and a Tribal Employment Rights Office Commissioner for my tribe. I have a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and tribal rights. I’ve also pursued certifications as a life coach and peer-family support specialist, as I’m passionate about empowering others.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in learning the Nez Perce and Umatilla languages and practicing the traditional art of Native American basket weaving. I’m an avid baseball fan and love attending MLB games when I can. As a booster club member for Nixyaawii Community School and Griswold High School, I’m committed to investing in our youth. My love for travel complements my deep roots in Native American heritage, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to my life in Pendleton, Oregon. I strive to embody a blend of traditional values and modern pursuits, always aiming to be a positive force in my community.
