Columbia Basin Fish & Wildlife Library Project Leader/Librarian
Fishery Science Department
After graduating from the University of Washington, Tami worked for the federal government on research studies investigating juvenile salmonid passage through various Columbia and Snake River dams. In 2006 she started working in libraries, eventually earning a Master’s in Library and Information Science and becoming a faculty librarian at Oregon Health & Science University. As the Librarian for the Columbia Basin Fish & Wildlife Library, Tami is able to combine both of these passions and strives to provide relevant information services for those conducting fisheries research in the Columbia River Basin. While not in the office, Tami enjoys cooking and spoiling her pets, and is a long-suffering Seattle Mariners fan.
