Fisheries Geneticist
Fishery Science Department Hagerman Genetics Lab
Biography
My research interests include population genetics, genomics, and the development of molecular resources for Columbia River fishes. As a genomics researcher, I provide bioinformatic and laboratory support for ongoing research at the Hagerman Genetics Laboratory. The opportunity to work on anadromous fish populations in the Columbia River basin provides an exciting contrast to my graduate work on the conservation of small, isolated populations of inland salmonids. Outside of the office, I enjoy fishing, endurance sports, hunting, and rock climbing.
