Stephanie Harmon

(Former Employee)

Deputy Genetics Lab Manager

I have spent the last few years working as a wildlife technician. Most of my wildlife work was spent in Montana and Washington, trapping snowshoe hares and Western painted turtles. Currently, I am working as a genetics lab technician at the Hagerman Fish Culture & Experiment Station. I became part of this remarkable team in November 2009. My days are filled with extracting DNA from Chinook and Steelhead samples with the intention of genotyping them. I am also currently taking part in implementing a new database called Progeny. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, 4-wheeling, and camping.
